Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Project Finance to join our team. The successful candidate will provide strategic and policy advice to our clients on delivering utilities infrastructure and large projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and policy advice to major developers, bidders, and other stakeholders on delivering utilities infrastructure and large projects.
- Design bespoke delivery models, including funding models, financing strategies, and commercial terms of contracts.
- Procurement and commercial advice, including construction contract approach, commercial terms of contracts, incentive regime, and packaging.
- Market analysis and benchmarking of sector and key players, including supply chain and technology.
- Business case preparation for various stakeholder approvals and grant applications.
- All aspects of financial advice on major infrastructure projects, including raising of finance, financial modeling, and scenarios analysis.
- Advising on bidding strategy, bid response preparation, finance competition, coordination with lenders, and supporting on contract negotiation.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience of advising on projects in utilities or other infrastructure sectors, with strong skills in client relationship management and a track record of delivering high-quality outputs and securing further work.
The person should have in-depth knowledge and good working experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Construction contract terms and conditions.
- Experience in building new financial models and/or review of financial models.
- Understanding of alternative funding models.
- Financing structures and financing terms for infrastructure projects.
The person will also have expertise in financial advice, project finance, and corporate finance, as well as in-depth knowledge and experience of working on major projects.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £100,000 - £110,000 PA DOE, plus car allowance, bonus, and benefits.
