Job Title: SEN Education Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Education Specialist to join our team at Supply Desk. As an SEN Education Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with special educational needs.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Designing and implementing Individualised Educational Plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student, ensuring that educational goals are achievable and measurable.
- Creating and delivering lessons using a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Working closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and other professionals to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Regularly assessing and monitoring the progress of students, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to address individual needs.
- Maintaining open and transparent communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and collaborating on strategies for continued support at home.
- Fostering an inclusive classroom environment that promotes understanding, acceptance, and positive social interactions among students with and without special needs.
Salary: £29,344 - £44,919 per annum
