Senior Technical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Manager to join our team at Kenna Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical matters, including design and approvals, and leading a technical team working on live schemes in South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
-------------------

* Oversee the design process from planning application through to project completion
* Lead design team meetings and ensure queries are resolved in a timely manner
* Provide technical advice on the feasibility of projects
* Manage a technical team working on 6-7 live schemes

Requirements
------------

* Prior experience as a technical lead at a senior level
* Previous experience working for a developer on traditional build / low rise schemes
* Strong delivery and action-focused skills, with the ability to identify risks and deliver effective solutions with minimal supervision
* Effective time management and progress projects against plan
* Good knowledge of modern methods of construction and timber frame housing
* Experience of closing out challenging projects, including refurbishment work
