We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a specialist in Virology, you will play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic services and contributing to the growth of our sequencing capability.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine and specialist examinations of samples using various technologies
- Report or present results as appropriate
- Assist the section manager in daily operations and supervise more junior State Registered BMS and support staff
- HCPC registration
- IBMS Certificate of Competence
- IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Virology / CPSM registration in Virology
- Worked in a UK Diagnostic Microbiology Service
- Experienced in Virology post IBMS certificate of competence
- Proficient in Virology post IBMS specialist portfolio completion
£40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
