Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team at ProTalent in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial statements preparation, corporate tax computations, and personal tax returns. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The estimated salary for this role is £29,000 per annum, based on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
  • Assist with corporate tax computations and VAT returns for corporate clients.
  • Provide basic payroll services for clients.
Requirements:
  • AAT qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a UK practice.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
