About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reporting Engineer to join our team at the University of Southampton. As a key member of our Strategic Data Platform, you will play a critical role in supporting our data-driven vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data analysis services and solutions from small point solutions to enterprise-wide capabilities.
- Collaborate with iSolutions architects to create a sustainable ecosystem of data services delivering value to the University.
- Develop and maintain data specifications for data engineers on cloud integration platforms.
- Translate complex physical data sets into consistent, accessible logical models.
- Support the transition of reporting sources to a new central repository of data.
Requirements
- Proven track record of adapting to and learning new technologies, programming languages, and ways of working.
- Experience of implementing complete data solutions at large or enterprise scale in a lead technical role.
