Specialist Education Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Education Professional to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a key member of our educational support team, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to neurodiverse children and young people aged 7 to 16.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced education professional to make a lasting impact on the lives of our students. You will be responsible for leading classroom activities, monitoring progress, and working closely with pupils to help them achieve their learning goals.
You will work with small class sizes of no more than four pupils, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and tailor your teaching to each pupil's unique learning style. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our integrated therapies team to ensure that each pupil receives the support they need.
Key Responsibilities- Lead classroom activities, including planning, teaching, and assessing learning.
- Monitor and record progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes.
- Work closely with pupils to keep them engaged, motivated, and inspired to reach their full potential.
- Work one-to-one or in small group settings to help pupils achieve their learning goals.
- Patient, compassionate, and resilient, with a genuine interest in supporting neurodiverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A driving license, as you will be required to transport pupils.
- A competitive salary of £30,000-£35,000 per annum, based on experience.
