**Commercial Transport Mechanic Role Summary:**

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Commercial Transport Mechanic to join our dynamic team at Consult2Recruit. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of HGV vehicles.

**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, safety inspections, and diagnostics on HGV vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. You will work closely with our team to identify and repair faults or potential issues promptly, maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Routine maintenance, safety inspections, and diagnostics on HGV vehicles.
  • Service and inspect vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
  • Repair vehicles safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime.
  • Identify and report faults or potential issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

**What We re Looking For:**

  • Proven experience in HGV maintenance, diagnostics, and safety inspections.
  • Time-served mechanic with City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

**Estimated Salary:** £45,000 - £65,000 per annum.
