About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at Gretton School. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths education to our students with autism, ensuring that they receive a tailored and engaging learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess maths lessons to students with autism, adapting your teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
  • Work closely with the SEND team to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of our students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, using data to inform your teaching and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a maths curriculum that meets the needs of our students with autism.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status with a strong background in maths education.
  • Experience working with students with autism and other special educational needs.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students.
