The Department Manager position at Gillman Home Center is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and product knowledge to customers.
- Provide services to customers at point of sale, including running the register, bagging items, assisting with loading products, and answering inquiries.
- Ensure the department is well-stocked, faced, and organized, with clean aisles and no obstructions.
- Maintain proper inventory levels by monitoring and adjusting order points, working back stock, and making inventory adjustments as needed.
- Open and close the store as assigned, and perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning common areas, trash removal, and snow removal.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed, and follow all company policies and procedures.

This is a full-time position, scheduled 40 hours/week. Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
Required Education and Experience:- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of retail job experience
