The Department Manager position at Gillman Home Center is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and product knowledge to customers.

  • Provide services to customers at point of sale, including running the register, bagging items, assisting with loading products, and answering inquiries.
  • Ensure the department is well-stocked, faced, and organized, with clean aisles and no obstructions.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels by monitoring and adjusting order points, working back stock, and making inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Open and close the store as assigned, and perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning common areas, trash removal, and snow removal.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed, and follow all company policies and procedures.
