Job Title: Lead Delivery Driver - Multi Drop

As a Lead Delivery Driver - Multi Drop, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of parcels across designated routes. You will lead a team of drivers, coordinating daily delivery operations while upholding our high service standards for both internal processes and client expectations.

This position demands strong organisational skills and excellent customer service abilities, as well as a steadfast commitment to safety and compliance. You will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating a "do it right the first time" approach and sharing best practices with your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support a team of delivery drivers, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal performance.
  • Route Management: Plan and optimise delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Customer Interaction: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any inquiries or issues that may arise during deliveries.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among Drivers.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track delivery performance metrics, providing feedback and support to drivers to achieve targets and improve service quality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar delivery driver role.
  • Prior experience in training or mentoring other delivery drivers.
  • Strong knowledge of delivery processes, time management, and certain geographical areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and mentor new drivers.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and solve problems on the go.
