Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Brand Communications to join our team at Standard Chartered Hong Kong.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to enhance the bank's reputation and brand.
  • Work closely with the Group Corporate Affairs team to deliver Group communications objectives and ensure alignment of local communications.
  • Manage the bank's social media content and accounts, and provide support on issues management during crisis situations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to engage and align key messages with different stakeholders, including staff, investors, media, community, and regulators.

Requirements

  • Professional background in Public Relations or Communications with a minimum of 10 years' experience gained within media/PR agency and corporate communications of a multinational company.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, including good written and spoken English and Cantonese.
  • Maturity and credibility to liaise with and influence individuals at the senior levels, including senior management of the Bank.
  • Bachelor Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related disciplines.
