Join Flogas as a Senior Controls System Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Flogas. As a Senior Controls System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, installing and commissioning control systems and instrumentation that is used to monitor and control the process at our customers and our own Flo Gas Operational depots throughout the UK.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical controls and instrumentation, with a strong understanding of PLC's, motors, valves, lighting, and gas detection systems. They will also be able to read and interpret line drawings, P&ID's and FDS documents with relative attachments.

In this role, you will be working on a variety of projects, including fault rectification duties, installation and service of safety, security, energy delivery (hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical), communication and process control systems. You will also be responsible for monitoring the operation of PLC's and associated equipment, as well as providing out of hours support to our own infrastructure and External customer base.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,769.47 per annum, based on 40 hours per week. This includes 25 days holiday plus statutory, and opportunity to buy 5 additional days. You will also receive a pension with 5% contribution from us, life assurance up to 4 times salary, opt-in Health Cash plan worth up to £900 per year, and discounted gym membership.
