Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete academic and practical training requirements of the apprenticeship as provided by our nominated training provider.
- Complete all relevant coursework on time and to a high standard.
- Gain knowledge and understanding of all operations best practices through training and observing engineers.
- Develop strong communication skills to interact with internal and external customers at a professional level.
- Learn to retrieve and record data from management systems.
- Gain hands-on operational experience and achieve a satisfactory level as an electrician, including preparing, fixing, and installing electrical systems, installing electrical components and accessories, distribution panels, and control systems.
- Diagnose and correct electrical faults and inspection & testing.
- Accurately fill in timesheets and complete reports required by management.
- Learn to retrieve and record data accurately using a PDA (Personal Display Appliance).
- Ensure that all relevant working practices comply with the statutory Health and Safety at Work Act.
