Job Title: Security Officer - Gallery Environment

CIS Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious art gallery in London. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the artwork, visitors, and building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality guarding and customer service to visitors and staff
  • Proactively engage with visitors as an ambassador of the gallery, providing information and assistance as needed
  • Ensure all visitor queries are responded to with an 'above and beyond' approach
  • Commit to delivering and promoting an inclusive and accessible environment for all
  • Provide ticket-scanning and queue management function, while also providing a warm and professional welcome to exhibitions
Requirements:
  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence required
  • Security and customer-facing experience is required, with a preference for experience in the culture sector
  • Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs
  • Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
  • Good levels of customer service, communication, both written and verbal, at all times
