We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Highbridge Resourcing. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our children's residential home in Erdington, Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead a team of support workers to ensure the protection and welfare of young people.
- Ensure the standards within the home are maintained and developed in line with the Care Standards Act 2000.
- Report to the Registered Manager and contribute to the overall management of the home.
- Work shifts and sleep-ins where required, and support with on-call duties.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a children's residential home is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulated home care practices and procedures.
- Experience in creating and implementing care plans.
- An NVQ level 3 in health and social care is essential for this role.
