Reception SEN Teaching Assistant Role

Step Teachers is seeking an experienced Reception SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team at a Primary school in Havering. This long-term role requires the selected candidate to provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting with their educational and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting students with SEN in a Reception class
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual needs
- Fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment, promoting independence and confidence
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and behavior
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience in a mainstream school. A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach, is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
Salary:We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per year, processed through PAYE. In addition, we provide exclusive discounts on high street brands, travel, gym memberships, and more through our pay portal.
