We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Brunch Chef to join our team at Layers Bakery, a vibrant and independent bakery cafe on London City Island, East London.

As a Brunch Chef, you will be responsible for cooking and plating our all-day brunch menu, including daily lunch specials. You will work closely with our head chef, head baker, and head pastry chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and seasonal changes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality brunch dishes to a high standard
  • Developing and implementing new menu ideas and seasonal changes
  • Working closely with the head chef and head baker to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Inputting into menu development and costing
  • Ensuring food safety and quality standards are met
