The successful candidate will manage business-critical logistics accounts, delivering value in commercial, sustainability, and digital focus areas. With a large logistics spend, the Logistics Procurement Lead will devise and implement effective category strategies, spearheading strategic sourcing projects across various spend areas.

The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills, commercial flair, and the ability to extract value from long-term contracts. With significant visibility and recognition, this role offers ample opportunity for career development within a market-leading procurement function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage logistics spend and develop effective category strategies
  • Lead strategic sourcing projects across various spend areas

Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably CIPS or MCIPS qualified
  • Logistics procurement experience, preferably across fleet, freight, road transport, haulage, warehousing, 3PL, distribution, and automation
  • Experience in FMCG, Retail, or Manufacturing
  • Demonstrable experience in managing large logistics spend, contract management, stakeholder management, and commercial management
  • Commercial acumen, strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with complex problem-solving
  • Relationship-driven and adaptable under pressure
