Are you a skilled professional with expertise in High Voltage (HV) systems within the automotive sector? Our client, a prominent company based in Northampton, is seeking an experienced Senior Test and Validation Engineer to join their team.

Job Summary

This role involves ensuring optimal efficiency and safety in all operational practices while delivering high-quality testing services to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the HV Test facility, adhering to the Safety Management System and operational efficiency standards.
  • Lead the development, validation, and verification testing (DVP) team to meet project Technical Requirements and de-risk engineering decisions.
  • Generate, maintain, and execute Test Procedure documentation, ensuring high-quality data and appropriate metrics for testing.
  • Own the End-of-Line testing process, including requirements identification and implementation.
  • Support the Powertrain Build Manager in HV assembly and testing standards.
Requirements
  • Experience in building HV systems/components within an OEM, Tier 1 supplier, engineering consultancy, or motorsport environment.
  • Proven ability in managing, scheduling, budgeting, and resourcing significant engineering tasks or projects.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
