Operations Support Lead

We are seeking an experienced Operations Support Lead to join our team at Chime Social Enterprise CIC. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations and providing exceptional support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Line manage the operations support team and create a positive, collaborative working environment.
- Oversee the day-to-day workload of the operations support team, ensuring priorities are identified and dealt with appropriately.
- Analyse and develop workflows to improve efficiency and create ongoing efficiencies.
- Responsible for updating all operations support department documents, including protocols, reference guides, and handbooks.
- Improve access to the service from the patient perspective and demonstrate a simplification of processes from the patient's view.
- Manage the team to achieve a patient satisfaction score of > 95% positive in your area.
- Conduct appraisals and deal with performance management issues as necessary.
- Provide cover for operations support administrators when required and ensure service continuity.
- Communicate with patients with severe hearing difficulties using relevant methods.
- Ensure reception duties are carried out appropriately across two hospital sites.
- Monitor requests, queries, and complaints from patients and analyse with the operations support manager to identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good level of education to at least GCSE level (or equivalent).
- Experience in managing a large team and adapting to short notice changes.
- Experience of communicating with people from differing lifestyles and dealing with the public.
