Building Surveying Graduate Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections and complete desktop survey research.
  • Prepare reports outlining the state of properties/sites.
  • Act as a Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent on fit-out and refurbishment contracts.
  • Negotiate schedules of dilapidations and prepare exit strategies for required repair work.
  • Assist with planning preventative maintenance plans.
  • Coordinate portfolio instructions and undertake other duties as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with building and sustainability standards, legal knowledge, and building pathology.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs – C / 4 grade or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Degree – A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Surveying accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • An interest in the property industry and its future.
  • Confidence in communicating verbally and in written format.
  • Project management skills to balance work and ensure tasks are completed.
  • Some travel required in this role.
  • A curious mindset to learn and grow with us.
  • A passion to contribute thoughts, create fresh ideas, and challenge yourself.

Right to work in the UK:

  • You must have permanent right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours.

Estimated compensation for this position is: £32,000
