Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious First Class Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant in a Primary School based in Hull.
This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience working with children who need support to progress, providing this through 1:1 and small group sessions. As a Psychology Graduate, you will work alongside children in a school setting who have Education Health Care Plans and are considered vulnerable.
The successful candidate will typically work at the school for one year to build their experience when working with and developing their understanding of vulnerable children. If you are a First Class Psychology Graduate looking to add further experience to your portfolio before making future masters applications, then this is the right place for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with children who need support to progress, providing this through 1:1 and small group sessions.
- Gaining valuable experience in a school setting as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
- Highly rewarding role working with children with SEN/SEMH.
- Ideal for Aspiring Educational/Clinical Psychologist.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree from a Top 30 UK University.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
