Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant modern SEMH provision in Lambeth. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs in a secondary school setting.


Key Responsibilities



  • Assist students in a variety of subjects, including core and non-core subjects
  • Support students in their learning process both in and outside the classroom
  • Run or support interventions based on individual student needs
  • Work closely with the school's highly skilled and caring staff to deliver excellent pedagogy and support students with special educational needs

Requirements



  • Experience working with challenging behaviour and mental health needs
  • Enhanced DBS certification
  • Team Teach training desirable
