Job Summary

We're looking for a P6 Planner/Planning Engineer with proven infrastructure sector experience to join our London office. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for planning and scheduling activities associated with infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain level 1 and level 2 schedules
  • Support project teams with planning-related responsibilities
  • Participate in project and programme planning and progress meetings
  • Identify and maintain programme/project milestone and schedule interface activities

Challenges of the Role

  • Support the planning and scheduling processes for managing contracts and contractor schedules
  • Support programme progress and reporting requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate schedule interface requirements
  • Adhere to NEC contract processes for managing schedule data and submissions
  • Maintain awareness of commitments and undertakings to avoid breach

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a construction-related subject (preferred)
  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions
  • Skilled in oral and written communication
  • Proficient in PC operating systems and multiple software applications
  • Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management
