Academic Support Professional

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH and Autism in our special educational needs school. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that fosters the holistic development of our students.
About the Position
This part-time opportunity offers a chance to work with students aged 5-19, providing essential support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be required to work 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) from 8:30 to 15:30.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist students in their educational journey, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.
* Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEMH and Autism.
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the process.
* Registration with the DBS Update Service.
* References covering the last two years of employment.
Compensation
* Salary dependent on experience, training, or qualifications, ranging from £22,000 to £28,000 per annum (dependent on skills). Recent school-based experience is preferred.
