About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Mobile Plant Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for traveling to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment. You will diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You will also collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations. Additionally, you will conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. You will offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices. You will keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting. You will communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV, or Agricultural industry. You will also need to have experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities. Experience working on engines would be advantageous. You will need to have electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience. You will also need to have a desire to lead, manage, and grow a team of your own. Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering, would be advantageous. You will also need to have a full UK Drivers License.
