Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for the financial management of payroll-related costs, sales operations, and capital expenditure. This will include:

  • Providing high-quality analytical information to support management decisions
  • Preparing month-end P&L and balance sheet, including accruals and prepayments
  • Supporting and challenging the budget and quarterly reforecast processes
  • Delivering effective and efficient accounting, producing timely and accurate numbers
  • Demonstrating an understanding of cost and capex accounting policies
  • Maintaining strong controls in a dynamic environment, including understanding appropriate tax treatments
  • Driving adherence to internal purchasing and accounting processes
  • Supporting all aspects of coordinating and consolidating financial planning across weekly trade, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant with a strong analytical skill set and advanced Excel capabilities. You should bring experience from a large, complex organisation and demonstrate expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and consolidated reporting. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, as well as an ability to maintain effective controls and support accurate, timely financial planning.
