Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Buyer/Purchasing Assistant to join our dedicated Purchasing & Supply Chain team on a 12-month contract.

The role provides support and assistance to the Purchasing Manager in all key activities relating to the Supply Chain Team to meet the requirements of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support internal colleagues with our ERP system as per training package and procedures
  • Provide support to the Purchasing Manager with monthly KPIs and Data Analysis on Excel
  • Develop and improve relationships within the Supply Chain
  • Introduce new suppliers and monitor performance of existing ones
  • Provide Supply Chain support with bids and tenders
  • With support from Project Team & Commercial, perform Supplier Reviews/360's
  • Ensure that the best quality goods and services are procured at the most competitive price and with minimal risk
  • Ensure that SYSTRA Governance in Procurement is maintained
Requirements
  • Proficient use of ERP database software & excellent skills within the Microsoft suite (Excel & Word)
  • Ability to travel to supplier/client sites and other SYSTRA offices will be required
  • Assist with any other requirements within the Purchasing/Supply Chain team
