We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at University Hospital Ayr. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for patients, staff, and visitors, as well as providing hospitality services for meetings and functions.

• Prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and visitors, including therapeutic diets and meal services.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Monitor and record data for HACCP and Environmental Health purposes.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective meal service.
• Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.

• Experience in catering, preferably within an NHS environment.
• City and Guilds 706/1 or an S/NVQ qualification in food preparation and cooking.
• Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
