About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to join our Plumbing team at Only FE. As a Technical Trainer, you will play a crucial role in supporting students by ensuring a safe and secure learning environment, and preparing equipment for learning programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regular instruction and support to students and others within the Building Technologies department.
  • Deliver practical training and demonstrations to students in vocational areas.
  • Assist in the design, operation, and maintenance of student services.
  • Demonstrate the use of systems and equipment to staff and students, and perform general housekeeping duties.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Plumbing/Heating or Construction-related subjects at level 3 or above.
  • Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Recent industry knowledge/experience within a construction-related trade or environment.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety practices surrounding construction-related areas.
