Job Title: Head of Humanities

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Humanities to join our team at an Outstanding school in Havering. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Humanities department and teaching at KS3 & KS4.

About the School

Our school is an Outstanding mixed school in Havering, with excellent transport links and over-subscribed. Responsibilities
  • Lead the Humanities department and teach at KS3 & KS4
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess and report student progress
  • Manage and support staff within the department
Requirements
  • Head of Humanities with the ability to teach at KS3 & KS4
  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Legal ability to work within the UK
