Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Senior Quantity Estimator to join our team at Recruitment Helpline Ltd in Dundee.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimating, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates on time.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to analyze documentation, collaborate with engineers and clients, and evaluate materials and labour costs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, collaborating with colleagues, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to ensure project requirements are met
  • Evaluate materials, labour, and equipment costs
  • Identify and quantify cost factors
  • Prepare and maintain cost databases

Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrician
  • Demonstrable experience in Electrical Estimating
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Ability to carry out Surveying duties
  • Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
