Boden Group is a leading provider of facilities maintenance services and project works to the Ministry of Defence and commercial clients in the South West and South East.

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional facilities management services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing requirements and producing contract lifecycle cost plans
  • Providing support and clarification to stakeholders on contract queries
  • Producing comprehensive quotations and controlling project or contract cost management
  • Engaging with the supply chain and conducting procurement, including framework contracts
  • Understanding the implications of H&S regulations and industry requirements
  • Authorizing supply chain invoices and settling accounts
  • Carrying out invoicing and applications as necessary
  • Pricing billable works and agreeing variations
  • Producing cash flow forecasts as required
  • Maintaining and contributing to robust commercial procedures
  • Identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks
  • Maintaining and developing knowledge of industry developments and practices
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with other departments
Requirements:
  • Industry-relevant qualification
  • Commercial experience in a construction or maintenance environment
  • Management of project costs
  • Knowledge of facilities management processes
  • Working relationships with clients and supply chain
  • Microsoft Office software, with Excel knowledge and skills a must
  • Estimating and SoR's
  • Contract Variation management
  • Forms of contract and risk management
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Formal Quantity Surveying qualification
  • IACCM/WCC Practitioner
  • CIPS or equivalent
  • CIWFM
  • RICS Accreditation
