Senior Biochemist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Director to join our team at Triple West Medical. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for leadership and a strong background in clinical pathology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Lipid and Diabetic Metabolic clinic, working closely with the Endocrinology team to provide a comprehensive laboratory and clinical biochemistry service.

This permanent position comes with a competitive salary of £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes 11 PAs and a full-time consultant biochemist (non-medical) to support the role.

1. Lead the development of the Lipid and Diabetic Metabolic clinic
2. Collaborate with the Endocrinology team to provide a comprehensive laboratory and clinical biochemistry service
3. Ensure effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders
4. Maintain a commitment to lifelong learning and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in clinical pathology
