Executive Estate Planner

We are seeking an experienced Executive Estate Planner to join our team at Pro Talent. As an Executive Estate Planner, you will be responsible for assisting clients with estate and trust administration, tax compliance, and private client work.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other relevant tax laws. They will be responsible for preparing trust accounts, tax returns, and IHT forms, as well as advising clients on tax and legal implications of creating trusts and appointments out of trusts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of trust accounts, tax returns, and IHT forms
• Advising clients on tax and legal implications of creating trusts and appointments out of trusts
• Trust administration, including TRS, CRS, and FATCA
• Reviewing trust tax returns and accounts prepared by others
• Preparation of accounts, tax returns, and IHT forms for estates
• Compliance with ICAEW probate regulations
• Maintaining technical knowledge on topical estate matters
• Preparation of complex personal Self-Assessment Tax Returns

Requirements:

• Experience in Trusts & Estates within an accountancy practice or similar firm
• Understanding of inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other relevant tax laws
• Knowledge of trust administration, estate planning, and succession planning
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant professional qualifications such as STEP or ACCA/ACA/CTA
