About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Recovery Worker - Duty Cover. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and advice to individuals experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover keywork sessions and medical reviews
  • Complete UDS and DBST for staff who are not present
  • Issue Naloxone and provide needle syringe provision
  • Take referrals and support the admin team
  • Complete ad-hoc assessments and respond to partnership agency queries

About You

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships. You will have demonstrable experience working in the health, social care, or criminal justice sector, ideally with those with substance misuse issues.

Requirements

  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or willingness to achieve within 12 months
  • Experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to prioritize work
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using IT and digital media
