Exciting Opportunity for a Commercially Focused Lawyer

About the Role

We are seeking a commercially focused Associate or Senior Associate Solicitor to join our highly regarded Corporate Team in Edinburgh/Glasgow or Aberdeen.

Our client has a strong international focus, offering the opportunity for cross-border work and international transactions across key industry sectors.

You will be responsible for a variety of work in a broad-based role, including:

  • Drafting principal documents for Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity and Venture Capital investments, and Equity Capital Markets transactions
  • Providing efficient professional support to partners
  • Developing professional client relationships
  • Supporting the wider team in developing business and raising the profile of the firm
  • Involvement in marketing events
  • Managing and supervising the work of others, including junior associates and trainees

We are interested in hearing from 4+pqe solicitors with excellent drafting skills, the ability to lead and project manage transactional work, and the ability to translate legal theory into practical advice.

This role is client-facing, requiring strong interpersonal and consultancy skills, as well as sound judgment skills.
