Building Fabric Specialist

We are Alaska Black, a global FM and property management company.
Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for general building fabric maintenance, including PPMs, minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating, within a healthcare facility in Glasgow. Your normal working week will be 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:00.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the overall condition of the building fabric, ensuring it remains safe and secure.
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including PPMs, to prevent equipment failure and reduce downtime.
- Perform minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating tasks as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in facilities maintenance, with experience of working in a client-facing environment.
- The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- An understanding of health and safety procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
