Culinary Team Leader Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Second Chef to lead our culinary team at Barchester. As a Second Chef, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise while delivering high-quality culinary experiences to our residents.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative menus that cater to residents' diverse tastes and preferences.

  3. Supervise and support junior members of the kitchen team, providing guidance and training as needed.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management and nutritional information.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in culinary arts or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on team leadership and menu development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Familiarity with food safety protocols and regulations.
