About the Role

Remedy Education is seeking a qualified Media Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging media studies lessons and developing a dynamic media curriculum.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Teaching media production skills to students using equipment and software
  • Fostering a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity
  • Organising media projects, including film, photography, and digital media
  • Staying up-to-date with current media trends and integrating real-world examples into lessons
  • Collaborating with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning

You will also be expected to assess student progress through assignments and examinations, and provide constructive feedback to students.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A strong background in media education and production
  • Excellent teaching and presentation skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
