Job Title: AMHP Professional Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled AMHP Professional Supervisor to join our team at Triumph Consultants Limited.

Job Description:

  • Supervisory Role: As an AMHP Professional Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice, support, supervision, and professional guidance to team members.
  • Salary: £25.80 per hour PAYE, with the possibility of extension or further opportunities within the company.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Assurance: Monitor expenditure, authorise, and approve budget as delegated, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  2. Team Supervision: Supervise up to 10 AMHPs and contribute to the development of the AMHP service.
  3. Advice and Support: Provide expertise to colleagues, including student supervision, group meetings, audits, and field work observations.
  4. Record Keeping: Maintain essential records in accordance with company policies.
  5. Statutory Duties: Undertake duties as required for the work of the service group.
  6. Collaboration: Work jointly with colleagues and other agencies for effective service delivery.
  7. Diversity and Inclusion: Promote, develop, and support diversity within the team.
  8. Vulnerable Adult Protection: Take a lead role in protecting vulnerable adults according to local policies and procedures.
  9. Professional Development: Maintain knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures affecting service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Professional qualifications, i.e., Degree in social work, CSS CQSW, Dip SW.
  2. Social Work England Registration.
  3. AMHP Qualification.
  4. Minimum 12 months recent experience in a similar role, ideally within a public sector organisation.
  5. Significant experience working within an adult setting.
  6. Able to critically analyse, evaluate, and apply knowledge of legislation, local policy, and procedures.
  7. Knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and regulations, including the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act legislation.
  8. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft packages or equivalent.
