Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the works across assigned programme areas, working closely with the Project Engineer to ensure accurate cost control and maximization of value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collate SAP plans across all programme areas and ensure accuracy and alignment with delivery and programme management.
  • Provide robust estimates that take into account scope, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor and assess actual costs against baseline estimates, identifying underlying reasons for variance and implementing resolutions.
  • Manage subcontract procurement processes, ensuring strategies are developed and agreed, and tender processes are followed correctly.
  • Prepare and manage subcontracts, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and maintaining up-to-date contract files.
  • Analyze individual cost items to measure cost efficiency improvements and accurately report withheld, disputed, or disallowed costs.
  • Monitor and expedite payments, checking and verifying subcontracts, interim and final accounts, and disputed subcontract accounts and claims.
Requirements:

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
