Dream Medical is seeking a skilled Correctional Healthcare Professional to join its team in a large category C training/resettlement prison in Wolverhampton.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clinical environment and be able to provide high standards of patient care. Key responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, conducting examinations and tests, and referring patients to other healthcare professionals as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing prisoners using the wellbeing model across 5 domains: physical and mental wellbeing, substance misuse, relationships, and resettlement.
  • Completing wellbeing wheel assessments to set patient goals and outcomes in partnership with the clinician.
  • Delivering high standards of patient care and safety through the wellbeing model.

Requirements:

  • A Primary Care nursing qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a clinical environment, preferably in a correctional setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits:
