Main Responsibilities:

  • Chef de Partie Duties:
  1. Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring that all dishes meet the required quality and presentation.
  2. Follow instructions and recommendations from superiors to complete daily tasks.
  3. Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  4. Supervise junior chefs or commis, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Estimate daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met.
  6. Ensure that all food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certification is required.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
