Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced EHS Supervisor to join our team at Futures. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting best practice in Environment, Health and Safety issues, ensuring comprehensive risk assessments are performed, and staying up-to-date with changing EHS legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raise awareness of health and safety within the organisation through presentations, training, and dissemination of information
  • Management of the EHS committee and close collaboration with the union on EHS audits
  • Assist in the implementation of systems required to achieve accreditation certification to ISO 14001 and EHS goals
  • Management of appointments for Health surveillance programme (noise, dust occupational health)
  • Data analysis and collation to communicate to workforce projects progress and results in efficiency improvements both verbally and visually
  • Ensure effective implementation of requirements so that the Department meets audit requirements

Requirements:
  • Qualified to IOSH, preferably NEBOSH, with a good knowledge of UK EHS regulations
  • EHS regulation, Environment, Health, Safety, NEBOSH, ISO14001, ISO9001
