Job Title: Analyst / Senior Analyst (Permanent)

We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst / Senior Analyst to join our team at Informa Group Plc. in a permanent role.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our global consultant network, providing data and analysis support to drive business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in data analysis and research to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models to inform business strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets and airline opportunities.
  • Prepare business case presentations for target airlines, incorporating comprehensive data and analytics.
  • Operate, improve, and maintain our forecasting models, consolidating and interpreting data across platforms.
  • Support long-term traffic forecasting projects, providing input for short-term airline strategies and long-term market analysis.
  • Lead and participate in customer insight calls with airlines to understand market opinions and development strategies.
  • Provide market insights to sister businesses like Routes, CAPA, and Aviation Week Network.
  • Contribute to speaker and content delivery at industry conferences and forums.
  • Help produce commercial bid documents and RFP responses and engage in business retention and new business activities.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of relevant training content.
  • Manage direct reports and project teams for client services and new product development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven application of professional knowledge within airport, airline, or consultancy environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of the aviation industry, including new air service development and the significance of data-driven business cases for airline decisions.
  • Confident in handling large data sets, proficient in advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint, familiar with Power BI, and knowledgeable about other data manipulation and presentation tools.
  • Strong in analysis, problem-solving, planning, and creativity, with the ability to present and visualize data effectively to teams or clients.
  • Skilled in quantitative and statistical research and analysis methods for solving commercial challenges.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Open to domestic and international travel as needed.
  • Possession of a relevant bachelor's degree to bring specialized knowledge and skills to the role.
