About the Role

Proclinical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Process Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing processes to integrate raw materials and sensor manufacturing, enhancing device performance, and scaling up production.

  • This position requires the ability to develop and characterize sensor build processes to optimize materials and manufacturing steps.
  • The Process Scientist will collaborate with various teams to implement changes for sensor performance optimization.
  • A key responsibility of this role is creating new protocols to understand materials and processes in sensor manufacturing.
  • The successful candidate will conduct explorative trials to investigate material and process parameters.
  • This position also involves using analytical techniques to assess material impact on manufacturing and device function.
  • The Process Scientist will coordinate and complete in vitro testing for novel materials.
  • A major component of this role is generating, analyzing, and reporting data to the team and company.
  • Detailed records of experiments and data analysis must be maintained by the successful candidate.
  • The Process Scientist will research and source new equipment for research support.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to coordinate projects and manage deadlines is an essential part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position requires a high level of technical expertise in process science and manufacturing.
  • The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A strong understanding of experimental design principles is essential.
  • The Process Scientist must have hands-on lab experience with independence and ownership of work.
  • Experience in process science, manufacturing, or engineering is preferred.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences are necessary.
  • Preferred experience with biosensors, medical devices, and data analysis software is desirable.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
