Lead Data Scientist (Crypto)

UK - Remote

£100,000 to £150,000 + Company Equity + Fully Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist with a strong background in crypto to join our fast-growing Fintech company. As a founding member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing our risk assessments and management products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data science solutions to drive business growth and improve risk management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and challenges using data science
  • Develop and maintain statistical models and machine learning algorithms for crypto trading applications
  • Lead and mentor junior data scientists to build a high-performing team

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in quantitative trading or data science within a crypto exchange
  • Strong background in crypto-specific quantitative analysis and statistical modeling
  • Experience with machine learning models in crypto trading applications
  • Managerial experience with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams
