Job Title: Infrastructure Operative

Salary: £25,100 - £29,950 per annum (estimated)

About the Role

The successful Infrastructure Operative will play a key role in carrying out highway maintenance activities, including routine and cyclic maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct all aspects of highway maintenance works, including civils' works and drainage activities.
  2. Operate vehicles and plant equipment, adhering to strict maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality results during winter maintenance operations.
  4. Maintain accurate records of drivers' hours and complete necessary paperwork.
  5. Carefully inspect vehicles before each shift to ensure they are in good working condition.
  6. Engage in regular project and work briefings to stay informed about new developments.
  7. Implement best practices to ensure seamless operation and compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
